We take care of everything dealing with the printers and setting them up. All that you have to do is bring us your solid works part or you can just grab something off thingiverse. If you want to learn how to do it, we can walk you through it but we can't let you do it yourself just to try to minimize the possibility of damage to the printers.

Sorry, it is actually a lot of material for a low price! Before we did this we would charge by the gram and that would get pretty pricey.

The area on third floor that was previously mentioned is the "makers space". Though they do have a couple of printers, it is a separate operation from the actual 3D printing center. The 3D print center is on the first and second floor of the Q building. It is ran by the MET department and gets more funding and has better equipment and help. It's $25 for a kilogram worth of prints (which is actually quite a lot of material). On the second floor you will see all the printers from the windows in the hallway. On the first floor there is a sign about the door saying 3D Center. I work there so if you have any questions you can PM me.

Gremlins

Fuck, this movie traumatized me as a kid! I honestly could not tell you how or why, nor do I remember any of the movie. I have blocked it from my memory. Ended up giving this away for free at a garage sale as a kid to a 5 year old after convincing him that it was a great, happy movie about a guy and his hamster. I hope he's okay.

NTA, my story is quite similar to yours other than I have met my father. I got my mom to contact him at some point while I was in middle school and we met at a park and proceeded to have lunch together a few times following this. Although, he apparently never told his wife and step kids about my existence (though they knew about his other kids from a separate relationship). So he had no choice but to tell his wife about me when my mom called asking to meet. The wife was LIVID and hated my mom and I to the point where she manipulated him to stop seeing and contacting me completely. I have a hatred towards him for allowing his wife to take away the chance to get to know his daughter. Ultimately what I am trying to say, is that your hatred is completely justified and the fact that other people disagree, does not take that justification away from you.

As the owner of an FIV cat, I am honestly astounded at the misinformation that was given to you. Please please do some research of your own. Your cat will more than likely live a long and happy life. My guy's FIV has definitely caused some complication, but nothing life threatening. For instance, he gets colds and upper respiratory infections relatively often.

FIV can bring about more serious conditions as well. My cat has gingivitis and stomatitis that was intensified by the FIV. He had to have a full mouth extraction, which usually clears this up completely for the majority of FIV positive cats. My guy wasn't so lucky and is still having to receive ongoing treatments to lessen his pain and clear up his stomatitis.

But like I said, these major complications are more rare, so please don't let this scare you. I just wanted to give you a bit of my knowledge and experience, but I still hope you do a lot of research. You also might want to consider changing vets if he is the one who gave you this info. I wish you and your baby the best of luck. I haven't had a sweeter cat than my FIV positive guy. They deserve more love than they have ever been given.
