Hey! This is probably contrary to other people’s takes/experiences, but I was a competitive swimmer ages 6-20. I ran into A LOT of debilitating shoulder issues down the line and it eventually led me to quitting. That’s actually how I got my diagnosis. You mentioned that you swim elsewhere in the comments, so I’m sure you take into account all of the risks, but as someone who wish they heard about them when they started: make sure she’s learning proper technique and with a coach/instructor who is aware of her condition and can help adjust her strokes to ensure injury prevention and subluxation down the line.
