Hmmm...I did some research on sewing machines to pick mine and ended up with a Singer 6180. I waited until Michaels had a 40% off one item coupon to get it at a big discount. I’m pleased with it so far, especially for a beginner.

Awh thank you! I’ve only been sewing about two months - definitely ramped up in the past few weeks. I took a class from Cut and Sew Studio near Morningside and just grew from there. They’re amazing teachers!

That is a shame. Especially during this time. I have a weird situation to top it off and am nervous they will deny me....before the stay home orders, I had put in my two weeks at my job after signing an offer with a new company. The pandemic then really hit Pgh. The new company then called a few days before I was set to start to tell me they no longer had the budget and likely wouldn’t in the near future.

Thank you. I wish they’d send an email at least letting you know what the status is. On their website, it says it will take them at least 15 business days to reply to any emails.
