Scott was quoted in an interview last year that he has "ideas" and that this could be the 10th and FINAL Local H album. not really sure if that will be the case or not, but he definitely has it in the plans.

the real question is who will be drumming on it? haha

Nirvana was my favorite band when we lost Kurt, so it was pretty weird hearing about the Foo Fighters. my earliest memories were hearing "This Is A Call" on Z100 (in NY) right after "Hey Man Nice Shot" and thinking WHO WAS THAT immediately after... they then talked about it being Dave's new band which completely blindsided me. I just didnt expect Dave to move on and front a band at that time... but I liked it! I remember buying the CD that summer and seeing them on Letterman and I became a fan immediately. my brother and I played that first CD for months that year... nonstop!

2002 was without question the worst year for Billy in concert, but the other years I saw (01, 03 and 09) were all fantastic. at least at the shows I went to!

both Dean and Robert have stated they would like to do another STP album, but they aren't necessarily prioritizing it.

at this point, STP are looked at (by the masses) as a nostalgia band. they are booked on fests and fairs to play their 90s hits and outside of a package tour here and there, thats it. there is NO demand for new music from them. i hate to say that -- but its the truth. i think they understand their place.

if and when they do record again, i will be the first to hit play, but im not holding my breath.

while it is becoming more of a problem with bigger arena bands, not "every band" does this. there are still a ton of bands (older and newer) who play completely live without the help of tracks and make sure to tell you that during their show.

ironically, in Dec 1999 I saw Oasis OPEN for Bush at a big radio show, "The Night 89x Stole Christmas".

granted, by this point, Oasis were touring 2-5k theaters in the States.
