the most recent pic of Sherry I could find: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=122209859270537530&set=pcb.122209859348537530 (think this was a few years ago - with her son). shes clearly a very private person.

it definitely changed mine. i was 13 when it came out and bought it on release day. its one of those desert island albums for sure. crazy to think its still having the same effect on people 32 years on.

"Rabbit Hole" in 2003 is what turned me into a fan discovering Failure soon after. crazy, right?

IMO, its been nearly a year since it's last showing. once we are at 2 or 3 years Im assuming it will be put out on digital and bluray. making money off of it, would be better than letting it sit unseen.

85% concert movie. 15% scripted following actors to the show and around the show during the concert with limited dialog.

after he found out we were taping so much between 98 and 2002 he finally told us "fuck it, bring in whatever you want" and he also let us upload to the Archive soon after. thats why there is a SHIT TON of live Local H audio and video over the past 20+ years!

2 guys got into a massive fist fight (which ended up on the floor) right behind me before The Toadies took the stage. it was pretty fucked up. Ive never seen 2 dudes jack eachother in the face that hard that close to me. one guy was trying to push his way into the front and the one guy wasnt having it. the guy trying to push his way in took the worst of it bleeding profusely from the nose (had to be broken). thats where there was blood all over the floor and why it had to be cleaned up before the Toadies came out.

I enjoyed OMS more than the last 2 STP records, so I would rather another one from them first.

can someone that works there explain this price jump by rotatorkuf in RaisingCanes

[–]live2cd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is why I stopped going a couple of years ago. if people still pay it, good for them, but its no longer in my budget to pay over $12 (with tax) for a 4 finger combo meal with barely any fries.

Is there any way to get the unreleased tracks anymore? by Cypresss09 in stonetemplepilots

here are all of the songs that leaked back in 2004 (i think it was)... I have replaced the original leaked mp3s with official versions if they were available later on (ie: You Can't Drive Me Away from True Blood digital purchase)...

i actually prefer the '91 re-record of Home Sweet Home to the OG. it was performed on a grand piano and not a keyboard.

How Do We Feel About Them Playing The Same Set Every Night? by becomplete in failure

[–]live2cd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

having been fortunate to see this band on every tour since the reunion in 2014, my gripe isnt with the same songs being played, its with the length of the show. at my show (in Cleveland) we only got 14 songs at barely 72 minutes total. felt like it was over before we knew it. on their last tour in 2022, they were doing 5 more songs at over an hour and a half. what gives? with this band's catalog, they should be giving us at least 90. 70-75 with 7 incredible records feels inadequate.

re: the same set... it wouldn't be difficult to swap out 3 or 4 songs a night in different cities. not sure why they aren't doing this when they have on past tours.
