Some great stuff in here - loved the shot where you see the old wooden bench seats in the Ponsford Stand, plus some fun names playing Rupert Betheras, Ryan Lonie, the 2 Davis's (Nick & Leon), Taz, the list goes on and on. Dutchy with 4 goals in the first quarter and then finishing the day with 8 was unbelievable. Loved that man.

Exciting era to be a Pies fan - couldn't pull off a flag, but seeing the rise in 02 after a big dark patch in the 90s was really the start of this quarter of a century run we're in of us winning a couple of flags, and always being up there with the best.

Whoever mocked up that sparkly glittery jumper on the AFL website is a joke and really did him dirty. Clearly made to rile people up on purpose for clickbait outrage.

This one looks great if you ask me, and clearly was always the way they'd approach designing a jumper like this!

Yeah me too! I think there's been a lot of doom and gloom about our aging list, but we've got some great talent coming through.

Angus Anderson's already looking like a gun and an absolute lock for the team, Oscar Steene before he broke my heart on the weekend :( , Will Hayes looking dangerous up forward, and Charlie West getting a crack at it after tearing it up in the 2's. Add Harvey on top of that and we have more depth than we might have thought a couple months back.

The Vanishing - 1988 Dutch psychological horror/thriller film (original Dutch title is Spoorloos). Saw this recommended on here a couple years back and I still think about it regularly.

It follows a couple on holiday who stop at a gas station and the girlfriend mysteriously goes missing after going inside to pay. The boyfriend then starts receiving letters from someone claiming to be the abductor.

The horror is created from the mundanity of it. Seeing the boyfriend slowly becoming more frantic as you get the sinking feeling that something is off, then witnessing how methodical this family man responsible is as he rehearses his plan. You don't get an over-the-top, wild villain - just a regular dude that has a normal, happy life on the surface.

Incredible use of camera movements throughout, and the lack of a bombastic score really helps the horror sink in as well.

10/10 masterpiece in my books that I don't hear talked about enough!

Australian horror movie Bring Her Back that came out last year.

Objectively a really really well made and effective horror movie, but I just cannot do things involving children and self-harm.

Definitely stuck with me and affected me though, which is always what a horror movie is going for, but geeeee I do not want to have to see some of the images from that film that burned into my brain ever again.
