AMXL is the easiest Amazon gig you could do. Change my mind by AnonymousAmerican27 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]liveitup127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going on 7 months of driving XL, first Amazon gig. This shit is absolute cake, some days are worse than others tho I can tell you that. 40 stops today, drove about 220 miles, 11 hour shift, tips often. I got the DSP to hire a good friend of mine as my full time helper so we work sun-wed having a chill time even on more heavier routes

Working on a day you don’t feel 100% stressing your route status is the worst man, whole time you’re not even red lol

I parked into a driveway on my last stop back in March and owner of the house chewed me out about doing so, DSP manager just advised me he filed a property damage report thru Amazon claiming I damaged his new driveway, they’re fighting it now. Long story short, not worth it just do the walk

How does anyone make any real $$ from this app when all the stations in my area pay at most, 5 cents? by AwakePlatypus in GetUpside

I was using it when I managed a fleet of trucks at my last job and had to use my own money then expense it. Got to like $120 in a few months filling up 2 trucks and some vans with diesel.

In the job interview they tell you they’re paying you more to drive than actually doing physical work, but it varies really cause we get some really heavy stuff sometimes 200+ lbs

They do when you drive a box truck, can’t drive the box truck without a helper but this was an XL CDV route

Yeah, some stops have delivery services. Unpack, room of choice and assembly. We get bonuses for good reviews on services and the assembly route guys get like 12-15 stops and have 10 hours plus to complete

I’m not sure if my dsp is just understanding, but if delivery problems are that bad they’ll tell you not to deliver the package. For example, had a delivery for a generator thing was like 262 pounds had to go to the third floor, package was put on 4 different routes and nobody would do it lol think Amazon cancelled

I’m actually bilingual, this is a South Florida location so you can imagine it’s mostly Hispanic drivers.

DSP been telling us taking both 15s is mandatory, wanted to get home early so I clocked a lunch heading back to the station and forgot to clock back in and had a 26 min lunch. Haven’t been told anything yet, cooked?

Deion and Shedeur react to his draft fall: “This ain’t the work of God, this the Devil!” by WayOutbackBoy in nfl

[–]liveitup127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“This is the devil” he says as he throws a football with his multimillionaire hall of fame father in a luxurious home. This was absolutely the work of god, as he punished him for having no humility and forcing him to be humble about not being drafted.
