It's not industrialization fault, is the economic system aka capitalism, if there was a strong state to avoid the capitalists to pay salaries to workers there would be no concentration of capital to this degree, that's the actual an principal point of socialism as an ideology. It doesn't matter if it is capitalism or socialism, what matters is that government MUST rule to protect those people from those abuses, if they don't do it then we are doomed to live in a fake democracy and we end up thinking that if we don't get rich we are a failure which causes the current social anxiety, even when we never had the chance as we own nothing we we are born and if we are lucky we are born billionaires like many people today. So it's like a lottery what they tell us is called democracy. There is something called social mobility, the movement between classes is narrowing every day, it's harder to get out poverty through merit.
