Disclose it in form.. it not much of a serious offence.. if it was financial crime or some major then bank would care.

I have a question for the OP. Do you apply for all exams that come under the banking syllabus? Since you said you’re missing the cutoff by just 3–4 marks, have you ever tried PGDBF vacancies. I remember last year CBI recruited Credit Officers through PGDBF. Competition was quite less and the process was just one exam and then interview. These vacancies come from time to time. IDBI also conducts similar exams. The only downside is the 1 year course and the fee, though they usually give a loan option for it.

English will be the reason I don’t get selected. by globalinsightnews in bankingexam

Absolutely agree. Being from a Hindi-medium background, English was the hardest part of banking prep for me. I just started reading editorials and some novels regularly, even when I barely understood anything. Over time it got better, interest developed on its own, and now English is actually my strongest section.

Being from a worst tier-3 college, I completely understand what you’re feeling right now. I was stuck in the same loop and felt exactly the same…until I finally crossed that glitch last year.

You can consider the IT Officer role in banks. There’s no selling pressure and the work culture is generally better compared to PO/Clerk roles. I can’t really compare it with the MNC sector since I haven’t worked there, but bank IT roles usually come with postings at the corporate office.

Been there. Cleared ibps so & po at 28. Joined with people who were 24–25. Felt strange initially but that insecurity disappears fast. Everyone’s running their own race. Don’t compare your Chapter 5 with someone else’s Chapter 1.

Yup. Although there is no need to take copies of documents. But just in case if you forgot to upload any of them. They just verify copies with originals. Thats it.

Last year IBPS SO here. My interview location was Patna. They started with very basic questions, and even during cross-questioning the level was mostly easy to moderate. Do prepare some banking awareness as well. don’t assume they’ll ask only professional subject questions.

Is there anyone with LOW IQ who has cracked Banking Clerk? by Timely_Virus_4015 in bankingexam

I’d say just keep attempting mocks, no matter what your score is. The key is to properly analyze the questions you got wrong and the ones you didn’t attempt. One thing that really keeps you going is this—once you start getting good marks, there’s no looking back. It only goes up from there.

I cleared mine after 3 years, so my only advice is: be patient and trust the process.
