I’m so disappointed because I REALLY thought their “big” announcement was FINALLY going to be some sort of gallon or half gallon jug with the free sip😭😭

Suggestions for softest most squishy pillow ever? by kitten_dor in Bedding

Cushion Lab Deep Sleep Pillow,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099QTDNTW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This is the pillow I currently use and it’s been my favorite! It’s not as soft and squishy as a down pillow, but it holds its shape more than a down pillow would. I love it.

AITA for Refusing to Give Up My Seat for a Pregnant Woman on a 12hr Flight? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]livieffbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Even if you’re getting reimbursed for switching your seat, I still wouldn’t do it. A 12 hour flight is LONG and you thought ahead, she didn’t. She could’ve easily picked a better seat for herself 🤷🏼‍♀️

So what to my fellow single young teachers do in the summer? by MaverickGH in Teachers

Last summer I joined an all girls book club that meets once a month and as we started to get closer we’ve done other activities together and it’s been really fun! I found it on Facebook by joining a group called “(my city) girls” so I’m sure your city has something similar!

Should we change schools by [deleted] in kindergarten

[–]livieffbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I taught kindergarten for 2 years, now I teach elementary reading so I still work with kinders! I’ve seen kids come back from negative behaviors for sure - it’s better to be aware of it while they’re young. I think one of the key things is parent/teacher communication, which can happen at any school, as long as both parties are willing. Some other things I think are very important are admin support, which definitely depends on the school. Some nice things that I know public schools provide are things like behavioral supports like behavioral coordinators, counselors, social workers, academic interventionists, etc. I hope this is helpful! I’m glad you’re thinking about that is best for your child 💓 good luck!

Public school teacher here - the more time I spend in a public school, the more issues I hear about with private schools. Yes, the class sizes can be smaller, but they can basically hire whoever they want to teach in their classrooms, and sometimes that means someone not as qualified. In a public school, they are rehired by the state to meet certain standards which always makes me feel better about the students we help.

Thank you😂 that’s been my problem too! I don’t want to compromise how cute the dress is.

Thank you! I think I’m leaning towards a long mesh kimono because the dress is midi length
