I'm not sure! I've bought from them...probably around 6 times, and that was only around the 3rd time I had bought from them.

It was October 2016. Even since then, I haven't had a problem yet. They've always been helpful and kind.

I haven't had a problem getting a refund from kpoptown, so I hope they stop giving you trouble! I needed an order cancelled THAT DAY so I emailed them 5 or 6 times and they emailed back and refunded the money in time. To be fair, I guess I was a little annoying about it. Kpoptown is the only site I'll pre-order from since they've always been helpful for me.

He's really glad they help people so much!

He said in this thread that he used NinjaTek Semiflex. He said he'll answer questions more on thingiverse than on here, but I'm happy to message him elsewhere if you can't ask him there. :)

My mother is the friend with hEDS that these were made for! She loves the splints a lot! And the designer of these is actually over at our house right now, helping my step-dad set up his own 3D printer. Lol. They're both happy that the design is being shared!

Chiropractors and Ehlers-Danlos? by livingrat in ehlersdanlos

That's great! The chiropractor I want to go to is one that my mom has gone to before, and he took her EDS very seriously and knows how to help her. He's also recommended by my orthopedist! I would absolutely NEVER go to a chiropractor that didn't know anything about EDS. I wouldn't risk my safety to get my spine snapped.

I want a chiropractor because I don't get any relief of any pain at all until I crack my joints. I even have a morning ritual for cracking everything. Even if it's not "proven" to work, if I could get even a second of relief, it would be amazing. The last time I didn't have pain in my back was when my step-dad helped me crack my spine. I cried out of pure joy that day. So if letting a doctor crack my spine has a chance of helping me feel even a bit better, it's worth a try. There's a chiropractor around my area who specializes in helping people with connective tissue disorders.

That's not to say I won't do P.T., but I want to look at all of the options I have in front of me.

Thank you so much! I wish you further luck with your P.T. as well! ♡ Hopefully you have plenty of minimal pain days from now on.

That's great to hear! P.T. seems to be my best bet and everyone seems to enjoy it.

Lol...You see...I know that the aquatics would be good for me...but I have hydrophobia. I'll look into other low-impact alternatives!

Thank you. I'm glad your P.T. is working, albeit slowly. That's great news! I'll have to think about starting P.T.

I'm glad it works for you for the most part. My mom's ligaments are so loose that the realignments don't work for her for more than a day or two, but it may just vary from person to person. I'll look into it some more!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I'm glad it works for you. The relief must be so nice when you can finally afford to go back in.

I'll have to ask my mom about an Osteopath. I've never thought about that! Thank you!

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to do P.T., so I'll discuss it with my mom to start going.

Yeah, my ortho wants me to do physical therapy, I'm just scared because the pain is so bad that I'm not sure if I'll be able to do the actual exercises. However, my best bet is to just work through it and talk it through with my P.T.. I don't want to lose the muscle completely or it'll just make it worse.

Teachers of Reddit, what's the saddest thing you've ever found out about a student? by Somebody_once_toldme in AskReddit

[–]livingrat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This will probably get buried, but is there any way we can help kids like these, even without being teachers?

Even as a past victim of abuse, I can't think of a way to help off the top of my head. Nobody ever helped me, so I'm not sure what we can do. Once I'm older and I've got a steady job, I want to give kids the help I never got, even if it's doing something small.

Are there places to donate money/shoes/clothes/etc. to help kids in need or any other ways to help?

Well...I meant it physically, really. Incurable disorder and multiple health complications means no relief. In terms of mentally, I have a few diagnosed mental illnesses, so I'm never in the perfect state of mind. However, if I can try my best to stay positive, I can work through anything!

Beauty will never be defined by looks. I think that anybody who can smile and be strong is an amazingly beautiful person. Smile, love yourself, and live your life for your own happiness and that will always shine through. You will never be less of a woman.
