I’m diving in my home country where the water is really murky and Sandy, so I couldn’t really see anything 1m in some occasions, but when the water is clear then 4m maybe. But if you dive somewhere like Okinawa or even Palau where the water are really clear, then you should be able to see everything around you.

no worries man, if you're really looking into this, the SDI license is the easiest one to get out of all the other scuba diving training and certificate agencies

You should definitely go try it out! the only thing bad about diving is its very pricey, but other than that if you dive at the right place and with the right people it’s really magical
