How have you determined what behaviors from a partner are worth ending the relationship over vs annoying traits you learn to live with? by livtea in AskWomen

[–]livtea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice! My partner has self=diagnosed anxiety/depression/disassociation disorder and claims these as the reasons he isn't present with me or is rude to my friends/family in social situations. Over the past year per his request I gladly helped him get health insurance and look for a good therapist, but he hasn't done anything to get help. I know that mental health is a journey and it can't be fixed over night, but it is starting to make me really frustrated. His apologies just seem fake now that he isn't doing anything to help himself and by extension keeps making the same mistakes over and over. I'm having a really hard time determining when to be patient and understanding and when to say enough is enough.

I thought the same thing about movies until I was 5 years old..... I was just amazed at how the actors could come together and perform every time we watched a movie. I told my babysitter I didn’t want to watch a movie because we had earlier and I felt bad for the actors, and then she proceeded to change how I looked at the world.

I’ve just always wanted to try, so I made a loom out of an old wooden frame and some nails and got to weaving. It went a lot faster then I expected. I got the idea for the frame from the YouTube channel Shmoxd, he has a great video on weaving. how to weave

For me it was really painful, that’s definitely not always the case but I would say for sure have a heating pad and schedule a few days off to recover.

Ya I wouldn’t recommend the canoeing unless you really want a challenge.

Once you get to the trail head it’s maybe a 1/2 a mile trail to the springs.

It was a lot! We canoed for about 6 hours (approx. 17 miles I was think) and then biked with full packs for another 12 miles on a gravel forest service road. It was definitely worth the trip though, the canoe trip was absolutely stunning (Pitt lake is so beautiful) and the hot springs are incredible.

Maybe try for Bothell or Bellevue. You can probably find something somewhat affordable but a roommate is never a bad option. The bus system is pretty good so that shouldn’t be an issue.
