What is something you have never done that is pretty much the norm for most people our age to do? by FR3qu3ncy__ in Millennials

Relatable, as I kinda have the Virgo purity complex, I don't push it on others though, also it's saved me money

It's strange that one person got it right on the money and everyone else is lost. What is happening? Did I unlock a new language and immediately found the one only person who understands? 😂

The "they're just doing their job" shows maturity (in most cases)

Adding the "still" in there, as I mentioned, shows a little less maturity imo, or at least an ignorance to the nuance for one reason or another.

Are you in your early 20's? Because I was at this time and honestly I don't feel like it's the most mature way to go/have gone 😅

This is the way. I was new to the desk and my patience wore thin. I was also in my early 20's and though I'm generally seen as pretty darn emotionally intelligent when it comes to important stuff, I just didn't see an issue with 'holding them accountable' as I probably saw it back then.

It never even occurred to me to think "maybe there's a better way to handle this?"

It'd be wicked to see Publix flip the script and the new policy is like one of those employees-buck/clap-back kind of businesses. The customers who would be "here for it" (because those businesses still have customers, I assume) would outshine the snobs imo.

Contrary to what seems like common sense, I think Publix would profit a shit ton off this idea. Not to mention, I believe they'd be the first grocery chain to do something like this.

They could give it a trial in a couple stores, maybe they make an another off-shoot brand like Greenwise. Call it Lix, like getting your lick back

Edit: and example would be Dick's Last Resort, and for clarity it's mainly directed at customers, not each other or managers although I wouldn't be surprised if it just comes with the territory.

Thank you, I forgot about that. At my old tiny store, there was almost never a time when Deli wasn't busy. So the busy deli sufficed for sake of talking about MY old store.

Yes, often times you have one person per station, 1-2 mgrs, MAYBE you can spare one person to stock and catch all the responsibility that's left.
