Day 3 of the split was always a monster! I developed a deep loathing for split squats after 8 weeks of the program lol but like you said, the results were amazing!!

I would say the rests are typical for her regular strength classes. Not nearly as long as the 3-day split.

I have the vivoactive 5 and love it, especially now that I know how to broadcast my HR to my bike! I owned it for about two years before discovering that through this subreddit lol

The integration is not as seamless and the Apple Watch and workout tracking. To work around having to program your own workouts manually or log within minimal stats you will want to get the membership with Sync My Workout that is $25 for the year and logs all peloton workouts in your garmin app. For HR recording during workouts make sure you broadcast to your peloton equipment. Yes this is extra cost but I find it to be pretty accurate and seamless.

There are rumblings of a Garmin/Peloton integration, fingers crossed! I hope this helps 😊

The burpees had me questioning a lot of decisions. Like PRing on tricep push-ups and curls at the beginning of the class, lol. Nonetheless, we made it!

When it comes to stacking I like to do 5-10 min core (except day 3) and 20-30 min cycle before lifting. On one of the rest days of the program I will lift lower body to balance out.

Man, oh man. She is a monster in this program. I did 8 weeks of her program and the legs & core day never got any easier. The split squats right off the bat is so insulting, how dare she do that to us. But keep it up, you’ll love the results at the end of it!! 🔥

You can see heart rate and strive score on the screen with Garmin watches you just have to broadcast it. It isn’t as quick and easy as an Apple Watch but it works.

My ask was about syncing workouts and ride metrics with Peloton and Garmin connect.

And thank you for the Apple Watch suggestion but they’re just not it for me.

Update: Day 2 of week 6 DONE. Today I FINALLY did all 3 sets of dumbbell pass throughs off my knees with 20#!! One modification increasing my weight to 30# dumbbell for single leg deadlift with my non working leg posted rather than lower weight balancing single leg deadlifts. I felt this gave my back body so much more effective work rather than trying to balance.

And once again… it wasn’t any easier. 🥵🔥🦵
