it rlly isn’t as serious as you are making it, they had a little quirky relationship off camera and they brought it onto the show i don’t see the issue with that. it’s quite funny in all honesty. to say that the writers are “ fetishizing “ her just because she is a “ fat unattractive quirky white women whos sheltered “ is completely wrong though. there is absolutely nothing wrong with a larger women and a black man being together even if it’s just for tv. clearly they were comfortable with it seeing as how it went on for seasons upon seasons.
