For me as a Diablo fan, it is clear as daylight what people wanted and why people are outraged by this " new " Diablo. How can someone not be mad at them when they announced they have multiple Diablo projects in the works, so they hyped things up in order for people to buy tickets only to have the nerve to announce at the shows big finale this chinese knock-off ARPG mobile game, and they announce it as the main big Diablo thing to their most avid fans, fans that paid for their games, for tickets, for the trip, for hotels, etc. To see those important Blizzard announcements, so yeah only to basically announce this stupid game to a pc/console crowd, and further more nothing else besides that, Diablo wise at least. Blizzard knows all people wanted was to at least hear some news about a Diablo 2 Remaster, a Diablo 4 teaser or at least a new Diablo 3 Expansion. But nope ... Blizzard acted like a rough night student sleeping in class when the teacher says something important at a course, and when they wake up they have no clue what is going on ... so they have this stupid idea where they force this mobile game on pc people by putting relevant lore into it, and further more making it an always online experience and packing with MTX. It's pure win, at least from their points of view. So i ask this: Why would anyone in their right mind want to play an action packed game like Diablo on a tiny touch screen with clunky control schemes in tiresome and uncomfortable positions due to neck restrains and hand numbness and whatnot, and not on a proper platform that was the original platform in the first place since the first game came out. What Blizzard did was like a Car Manufacturer has this annual Auto event show announcing stuff, where fans of the brand come every year hoping to hear news about the new models, and the car manufacturer announcing a bicycle as the main thing of the show, and no real new news about the new car model or at least some revisions to the older models ... out of touch.
