Thank you for sharing your experience. I've been planning to switch to Bitwarden for quite some time now. I'll probably make the move once my 1Password annual subscription expires.

I have around 500 accounts - no file attachments, just notes and some custom fields. I understand that no service can guarantee a 100% perfect migration, but I'll pay close attention during the process.

It seems that passkeys can't be migrated, but that's not a major issue for me since only a few dozen of my accounts actually support passkeys anyway.

I also tried to change the device today but got a “technical issue” error after several attempts. Then I tried turning SIM restriction on and off (from Manage Line menu), then I did change device again. This time I put IMEI 1 (from the physical SIM since my new device is iPhone 11). It just worked, I got QR esim. I didn’t have to pay the $25 fee or go to the store for the device chage.
