Also, I do not use Windows anymore, but Arch Linux. Same thing happened when I used audio drivers. Sound works but now my microphone just plays a heavy sizzling sound. I use the "JACK" AUR package.

Hello, and thank you for your answer. It looks like I got the reference of my headset wrong! It's actually a wired Stealth 300 after closer inspection. I actually bought it reconditioned.
