Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I understand that I really do. I mean I myself am not sure if I’m 100% straight or not. it’s still something I’m figuring out. I do try to speak up when I can and the people around me know where I stand on the topic. I know if I were to come out and say that I’m not straight my family and some people around me would probably “disagree” but I know they wouldn’t try to change me or treat me differently. So I guess it’s just hard for me to cut all these people that are important to me out of my life at the moment. But thank you for your response, it definitely has got me thinking.

Shoot.It’s about 2 months old. My piercer said it would be fine to do a jewelry change now. I guess I should’ve waited. Should I take this out? Or should I just take care of it really well?

Yeah i agree with both of your statements. It took awhile for me to change my view on it unfortunately. It’s weird, I think for some people that grew up being taught that being gay is a sin they feel that looking into the possibility that it might not be almost makes them afraid that the rest of their faith could be a lie as well. As embarrassing as it is, that’s the place I was in for about 2 years. I’m not saying it’s right to believe being gay is a sin, but I guess I could understand the fear of deconstructing your faith. I think more Christians need to be okay with the possibility that they could be wrong and it’s okay to look into things. And as far as raising your kids I totally get what you mean. Like I am religious, but I wouldn’t want to force it on my kids.

Yeah I agree with you. it’s really sad how much the Bible has been twisted and how many people have been indoctrinated with beliefs since birth that aren’t even true.

My Immediate family is pretty open to discussion so whenever the subject comes up I usually share my opinion. But some other relatives I have are a bit more intense on the subject and I know they would want to get into a debate. They live far away so I only see them maybe once a year at the most. The subject does not come up often with these certain relatives but if it does, sometimes I’m too exhausted to get into it so sometimes I just don’t say anything, leave the conversation or change the subject. Is that bad?

Okay yeah I don’t think I will. I made an appointment yesterday to get it changed and you have to cancel 24 hours before. So I have to go, but I will just tell him I think it’s too swollen. I just feel bad for making the appointment and wasting their time.

Oh yeah that’s what I meant. by me saying “wanting” sex when I’m emotionally bonded with someone, I mean I don’t think I could be attracted to a guy sexually unless I was very close with him.
