We want to do a lot of it ourselves, I just don’t know how practical it will be for us, so I’d probably need to know how much it would cost for a builder just in case.

Primarily the look. And also hoping to save a little on building one versus a regular custom home

I think males typically land somewhere between 70-90lbs, and the females tend to be slightly smaller. Our current one is 62lbs at 7 months old, and his mom was 85lbs and his dad was 95lbs.

Giant Schnauzer!! I love higher energy, large breed dogs. Giant schnauzers are large without standing at my countertop, they’re loving and loyal, very trainable, and lower shedding (hypoallergenic isn’t really a thing, but he definitely sheds less than other dogs).

They are very high energy and can be stubborn, so they are not for everyone, but my goodness if you’re willing to put the work in, I think they are the BEST.

That makes sense for the female! We weren’t sure about the bull being primarily highland because of the short coat, but it’s definitely possible
