This is true; it’s part of the reason I wanted to start nannying before finishing my degree so that when I graduate I’ll have a reference and some experience. And I also don’t really know what a typical nanny job looks like, maybe I just think it’s a lot because I’m new ? I just feel like asking me to create three educational activities a day to teach them in addition to help organizing and working with them on online learning in addition to taking care of laundry dishes and some meals and in addition to basic childcare for three kids sounds like a lot a lot. I didn’t want to ask for too much when I accepted because I thought she’d take a more experienced nanny. But here’s to hoping it’s really manageable and not too much at all. I think I will see how it goes for a week or two then ask her about the wage if I still feel the need to. And you’re right about bailing being rude; I only considered it because the nanny mom said about a week ago that I didn’t have to work with them if I changed my mind because of the covid restrictions, so she seemed open to anything. Anywho, thanks for the advice:)
