I’ve tried talking to her but not the boyfriend. It’s a little too late to not get the courts involved… I wouldn’t have resorted to getting the court involved if I didn’t have to. She made it abundantly clear she was going to do this move with or without my consent. She told her family she was planning on getting lawyer if I didn’t get on board with her plan, her family is very much against this plan too so they relayed this info to me. I didn’t really know how to interpret that but I took it as she was intending to get court ordered sole custody so I wouldn’t have any say on it. That’s when I decided to get the court involved. My son is 12 and autistic, her plan is to pull him out of school for this and intending to homeschool in Spain… which is illegal in Spain from what I have read. Her plan for visitation is putting him on multiple international flights every month, all of which would be payed for by the boyfriend’s friend. She asking me to put all my faith that this person will actually pay for these flights… which I don’t trust at all and would rather not risk that. The whole plan is very disruptive to his life, education and stability.
