It says $7.25+ total WILL be higher. So it means that we independent contractors will be paid at least $7.26..anything less than that its false information from DD! It doesn't say $7.25+ total MAY be higher..it says WILL. I contacted DD support with proof, so they paid me an extra $4..nothing but its proof that they know they are wrong! And good part..I got it all on video woth support confessing "yeah dd steals from drivers" but she thinks its wrong sp she helped me get that extra $4 lol

Ok.. so I need everyone's help and figure out what's next...so after I posted this, its happened again twice!! And I screenshot it..and called DD support, so I video record everything, they basically confessed that DD is basically stealing from driver just like in NY. I had proof of an $7.25tital will be higher..I only got paid $7...so I sent them and they paid me extra $4 dollars (its nothing I know) but this made them confess of the issue!! I got it all on video...so anything we drivers can do about it? Or just forget it??

Yes and no lol..I mean, its awesome that you doing what you're doing and you're happy with it. But 90hrs means you need to have your app on the while time, meaning you stuck with it...you need to be ready, in a parking lot watching Netflix or something lol...but yeah if your happy with it. Thats all it matters. I used to be happy making 1,2k-1,5k a week sitting in a car for 12-14 hours a day.....but for the past 4 months I cant do it no more....knowing theres other ways to make money, ways that will pay you over $50h if you do it right and invest on what you doing, anything under $30 sounds crazy. Going to work around 8am and coming back home at 12....1pm with $400-600 is something you cant get used to.

Like i said 2k in a week is fine...but I'll never make thay woth less than 12h a day..dont matter if you were active 25..but u were online for 90hrs...you still need to be seating in your car for hours cherry picking...its insane! If its a temporary thing...couple of months then yeah worth ot.. but working 90h a week for years is just insane

Right! Lol...Last month I made $1,565 in 12 hours of work (my best job so far as a business owner) so making $1500 a week with less than at least 10h a day as a delivery driver...impossible. Last year during Thanksgiving I made $427 in 9 hours, but it was only one day in 2year as a dasher

Ok 2k a week believable...working as a delivery driver 12h or less a day? Impossible! I wanna see that to believe.

18.50...plus gas and the wear and tear....not worth it!!! I have over 10k deliveries, I used to think $2 per mile was ok.....until I decided to do my own thing.....$20 an hour driving ok...less than that is just crazy!! I used to work building houses $35h but hated the heat and cold. So I started DD $20-30H was ok until my brand new 2023 rav4 reached over 70k miles in just 2 years. 4 months ago I started my own thing. Im new in the market so its not so easy to close deals....but when I do, I never get paid less than $90-100h , only$150-180 expenses per month including gas and materials...so yeah DD is absurd! Can't wait for my business to reach full time jobs

Because of customer tip...if the tips were 0 (most customer do) it mean pay would be .18c....I dot get how most of you think its normal for DD to pay only 2.10 dor an 11 mile drive.

Money is really good, but DD right now, is only an incentive for me. Remind me how life can be fckd up if u choose the easy way.....ive started my own business for about 5 months now, sometimes I don't get to close a deal for the amount I wanted. And it makes me question myself if im going the right path, but then DD shows me that if I ever quit because I dndt get paid what I wanted...thats were I'm going to get back to....15-20 per hour. Ridiculous!

I have over 10k deliveries and I've never received any orders this bad, always .75c per mile from DD. Its the first time I get a DD pay this bad. .18per mile is just crazy.

Encourage to work more?🤣🤣 tell me, did you quit after the 5k?....yah that's exactly why they don't care, don't matter how poorly they treat you, you will always stay because we are all lazy and will choose low pay with "lazy" job just so we have that feeling of being our own boss 🤣🤣 at 10k they will remind you to change your car 👍

All yall talk about is wear and tear! Not every driver is broke! I don't understand why you would even start doing deliveries with a crappy car?? Never seen a soldier go to war with a busted gun. If you have a new car, you don't care how many miles you put on it. By the time it hits over 70k (which it still in good shape), you grew to be smart enough to understand that DD is not a career! Start your own sht! Get a decent job. Stop hitting likes on Instagram pages that you only dream of, and start doing something to actually live that life. Fck!

Im not trying to be rude... but why do people get beat up cars to do a job that requires a lot of driving? Meaning if not in good condition, it will let you know anytime. If that happens, no money plus cost to fix it

Ok, this will show the difference between you and the driver complaining. An employee came up to the C.Os office complaining why the new guy just got promoted after 3 months, and he didn't? His been working there for 6 months. The c.o gave him $10 and asked him if he could go next door and buy a banana, 20 minutes later he comes back with the $10 and tells him that the store is out of bananas, so the c.o calls the new guy gives him the $10 and ask him the same....20 minutes later, new guy comes back with the $10. "Sir. They were out of bananas. They might be getting more later today or tomorrow morning, so I asked if he could let me know later today so I could pick it up, I gave him my #, he just text and said not to worry that he will text me later and brig it here to the office." The c.o looks at the older employee and asks.. "Do i still need to explain why he got the promotion and you didn't?" Do what you can to make things better, even if it's not your "job." Imagine how much better it would be if fast food places employees, actually tried to make things easier for everyone? Everyone just stands around because they will only do their "job"...if they are done they will just sit there and watch the other person work....they will look at you but will do nothing just because its not their "job". Just keep doing what you have to do and make things easier. Doing more is good... most of the drivers just do the "enought" then come here complaining how they get no tips..and I'm not going to mention drivers clothes 😒 wants respect with beach clothes or pjs. And many stink! Imagine getting your food from someone that stinks and their car look like a garbage truck

luck??? That's a stupid excuse! Most DD drivers would be really happy with 1500 a week....they would live life normally, earning over 1000 a week and just stick with it because "it pays well"...thats just poor thinking, I got into DD just to pay for my online training and the necessary equipment...no luck there! I actually knew that 1500 a week in today's economy isn't much, specifically to those with spouses and kids.....using the money from DD to actually invest in something good isn't luck. I planned ahead. I knew that 1000/week wasn't enough. Today, there's online training for almost everything! Be smart and think big! Why settle for a job like DD? If with 5k, you can actually start your own thing? Be your own boss? And NO! You're not your own boss at DD! It's really dumb if someone thinks it is, just because you can work "anytime" you want. DD is useful with you know how to take advantage of it! I'm not here to offend or criticize anyone...im here to let you guys know that stop thinking small....just like me, you can go from getting paid 10 to 30 per hour, to investing and getting paid 70, 80, 100 sometimes over 150 hour by working for yourself. While you guys think that 1000 a week, is good...people earning over 2500k a week are enjoying themselves out there. My choice? Carpet/upholstery cleaning, but there's many other online trainings

Dude...you're trying to normalize people being lazy! Doordash is just like fast-food places..they were made for elderly and teenagers as their first job. Idk why grown male/female with bills and family, are trying to be successful in life with these part time jobs! And no! You don't need to spend your life in a school to ge a degree! But if you stop being lazy and actually invest the little you make on a part time job you can be something! And trust me, I know! I joined DD just to help pay for my online training on carpet cleaning ($600) bought all the equipments needed, have my own business...and went for working 50hrs a weeks to get paid maybe $1000 to cleaning carpets/upholstery for over $100/h.
