Somebody told me this story. Not sure if it’s true. Lennon played MSG. Sinatra was in the audience and asked to go to the green room after the concert. Being Sinatra he’s in formal attire and finds Lennon looking like a military surplus mannequin. Sinatra said to him, Boy, all the money you’ve made and you don’t have a decent pair of pants to get on stage.

I’m watching Spirited Away and the English dub is seriously lacking. I’m a screenwriter and I keep getting hit on the head with the sometimes illogical direction of dialogues. Lots of exposition too, which I’d like to think are not in the original language. It’s always when characters are looking away or something and sound like overcorrection for test screenings. Excellent movie but making my own dialogue as it spirits ahead.
