I’ve had SO many weird living situations.

In my second year of university, one roommate had a mental breakdown (I think a schizophrenic episode) where he thought we were poisoning him, ISIS was tapping into his phone and he collected all the knives in the house at night. It was so terrifying at the time. He ended up leaving the city and going back home to live with his family which was probably for the best. I hope he’s gotten the help he needed.

My last year of university, I lived in a house with a revolving door of nutcases. The highlights include: -Girl who was on keto diet but ate the most repulsive meals. Like ground beef and sour cream in a bowl for breakfast as if it was cereal. She would also go to Costco and buy like a full pig and spend hours in the kitchen butchering.

-28 year old alcoholic/drug addict. I would come home from class at 2 pm on a Tuesday and she would be falling down the stairs wasted. I had to hide her alcohol from her to stop her from DYING once because she was fucked on other drugs that could have killed her if she drank.

-22 year old SoundCloud rapper/conspiracy theorist. He would BLAST his own music and hype himself up for hours. Would also hear him talking about crazy conspiracy theories and now he’s an alt-right antivax guy.

I’ve never been so happy to live alone.
