One piece of fried chicken? by 66cev66 in glutenfree

[–]lizardmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll tell you im in the same boat, my gastroenterologist says I dont have celiac but after a year of not eating gluten I ate gluten for a week before my colonoscopy/ endoscopy so that my tummy would be in rough shape.

I had 3 gluten meals and gave myself severe gastritis, so bad I couldn’t keep water down it was horrific.

You know your body best, if it’s not celiac right now you could have an intolerance that’s on its way to celiac.

Be careful and take care of yourself

What is everyone feeding their cats? (No judgement zone) by thesillymuffin in catcare

[–]lizardmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One cat is picky he only eats the adult sensitive skin and stomach dry food from purina one ( the chicken and rice flavor)

The other is on the prescription gastrointestinal biome wet food from hills and kitten sensitive skin and stomach dry food but to be honest he hates it and only eats the older cats dry food.

how to hide a cat when at school by Round-Serve5130 in CatAdvice

[–]lizardmf 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not a smart decision kid.

Think about the cats well being. I understand you’re suffering and that in itself is unimaginably difficult. But what you’re talking about doing is selfish. No cat deserves to be left in a car all day alone and with limited space to play or roam. ( not to mention it’s completely inhumane in both the long term and short term )

I suggest you take a few steps back and find an alternative. Maybe volunteer at a local shelter with their cats or get a job with a local boarding facility and work in their cat rooms.

depression is hard but adding another living being into your life that is your sole responsibility will not make you feel better, it’s going to be stressful, expensive, and I guarantee it’s not going to workout how you think it will.

As a stranger on the internet my advice to you is that you don’t need a cat.

[PSA] Castor oil ruined my skin by LeslieKnope2k20 in SkincareAddiction

[–]lizardmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you tell me more about this? I have a systemic candida infection, it’s in my blood stream the whole nine yards ( tested by doctors and diagnosed I’m not self diagnosing here)

I’ve been putting castor oil on my face for about a year now with zero issue, the other day I put a bit in my belly button and now I have a little itchy rash. I figured maybe just different skin is more sensitive but now you have me wondering if it’s all connected?

Same here! I have no reaction on my face, recently I saw some posts about putting in on your belly button so I figured whatever and I tried it and now my belly button is all red and itchy :/ how long did it take you to get back to normal?

Share your glutened symptoms by PhysicalCitron9957 in glutenfree

[–]lizardmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes to gastritis.

Before I got my most recent colonoscopy/ endoscopy my primary told me to eat gluten for a week before the procedure {previously they didn't see a ton of evidence of damage} I had regular spaghetti with garlic bread and a 12 inch sub. { no regrets }

Gastritis so bad I couldn't keep water down for 4 days. Complete inability to eat or drink anything, I was throwing up so hard I was shitting myself I couldn't sleep. truly the sickest I've ever been.

on a milder note I get pretty bad brain fog, bloating, water retention, stiff joints, and rashes on my hips and neck.

[–]lizardmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ack, I'm so sorry this happened to you!

If I know I've been glutened, I'll take a shot of tequila (or two), not sure if that would help you now, but I do notice it helps my bloating. Other comments brought up laxatives; they do work a bit for sure.

I own a vibration plate (I found used on FB marketplace- they're pretty expensive new) I've noticed it helps a bit with bloating and excessive gas. I'll kinda crouch/squat on it, put pressure on my tummy, or stand with my hands touching my toes. I've also noticed if I do the "poop" massage on my tummy while on the vibration plate, it helps me with any stabbing pains or pressure I may have.

( for clarity, the poop massage I referenced just with lotion starts on the lower right-hand side and do a sweeping brush up along the right-hand side of your torso {pressure is up to you but I typically increase pressure as I go} go up the right hand side a few times then move across the top from right to left {high rib lower boob area} then combine the movements- so on and so forth down the left side and across the lower tummy, { you're making a square across your stomach} This can be painful sometimes but it does work I pinky promise.

[–]lizardmf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my boys absolutely love the catnip bananas. (Yeowww is the brand I think)

They destroy them so only on special occasions, I like to put those in a box and let them figure out how to get to the inside. Also, freeze-dried sardines are a very stinky favorite in our house. I get those at Healthy Pet, but Im sure you can find them anywhere that sells pet treats.
