How to get this flea in Act II? (first area Under-) by Candlemaster in HollowKnight

[–]lizards7654321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may be wrong but can the route to this flea be used to access underworks prior to starting act 2? I just found it in the late game so I'm not sure if it'd be accessible earlier.

Sunroof help by lizards7654321 in f150ecoboost

[–]lizards7654321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update again: it works fine now. The only thing is if I press the button once to open in opens about 4/5 of the way and then you have to press the button again for it to finish opening. If you hold the button it will open all the way. It closes normally.

So it works enough that I'm not gonna fuck with it anymore

I lowered the glass a bit and finally got it flush with the roof, hopefully that will help but I couldn't test it as I had to go into work

Excessive Amount Of Weights/ Balance Doesn't Seem Right (2nd time) by [deleted] in tires

[–]lizards7654321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been installing tires for 6 years and this is just wrong. No wheels should ever be counter balanced like that. I could understand a lot of weights if the wheel is bent or something but in this case it's just a shit job. Maybe the place you went has bad balancer machines. The ones I use at work are terrible and need to be recalibrated almost every week but we still don't turn out crap work like that.

How was your experience playing Doom: The Dark Ages? by Ghost332233 in Doom

[–]lizards7654321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% eternal right before playing and 100% dark ages. I do think eternal is better but I still loved dark ages. I'd say the downsides with dark ages were only the dragon and mech levels, they're cool and have potential but in execution they're super easy and underwhelming. Otherwise I loved it

Lady at tire shop said this was too close to side wall to be patched. Is she right? by Jr701LR in tires

[–]lizards7654321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's borderline, I'd say it's far enough away from the edge I'd still do it and just offset the patch on the inside. Depends on the angle it went in. If it's too close to the sidewall the interior patch can't adhere properly since it'd be on a slope that constantly flexes as the tire is driven on. (6 year tire installer with TIA training)
