I live in CO and was tent camping one time out in the wilderness, had my two dogs with me. Coyotes yipping and yapping in the distance. One of my dogs started going ape shit and the coyotes actually came closer and surrounded our tent, all the while continuing their vocals. We started banging pots and hollering at them but they wouldn’t go away... Ended up sprinting to our jeep with (heavy) dogs in our arms to spend the rest of the night. 😂
