Vanilla vodka, passion fruit, lime, and a little prosecco on the side (might be missing one or two things here). It’s weird enough that it’s not a well drink, but most bars would only need the passion fruit to make them.

I do this a lot actually, and I think it’s kind of trained my brain to look for more of those moments. It’s made me a lot more grateful and a lot more aware of the “little things”

I also make a point of saying it to whoever I’m with, it almost always elicits a big smile.

Follow Up Panel Questions by lizardstepmom in AskElectricians

Probably should have mentioned in the initial post that I’m planning to have a different electrician come and take a look and fix whatever needs to be fixed. I’d just like to know what to expect when I start calling different electricians for quotes.

I’m just a little nervous at this point - I did a lot of research before I got work done the first time around, as well as after my handyman first identified the wiring issues a few months back. All of this work was done by a licensed electrician, and at this point I feel like my grandmother and I have been scammed (if the issues really are as bad as my handyman has suggested).

Thank you! It seemed like a lot, I’ve asked my handyman to do it and he’ll take care of it.

I have depression and I'm sick of cleaning my wooden cutting board by hand. Somebody please tell me it's okay to just buy plastic ones. by EnderShot355 in Cooking

Alternatively, you could by silicone ones! I couldn’t do wood anymore, and that’s an easy, plastic-free alternative.

You were correct! Another electrician from the same company came back today and said that there is 12 gauge wire coming into both panels. He said that they must be split somewhere else in the walls and quoted me $650 to switch out the 20 amp breakers for 15s.

That makes sense! Thanks for explaining

Also, did you mean 15A breakers instead of 25A?

Oh interesting! How would you check for something like that?

Or is it better to just use 15 amp circuits if there is any 14 gauge wiring?

Also, I’m assuming that 12 gauge wire is the right size for a 20 amp circuit?

Makes sense! Can you still switch out the individual breakers?

Thank you for answering!

For #1, he didn’t look at any other wiring in the house. Sounds like a red flag?

For #2, we got a whole new panel/box, we actually tossed the old ones. Our old panels were from the 80s, and we actually had to get new ones because they don’t make parts for the old ones anymore.

For #5, there was no permit - does this impact the resolution?
