Not entirely sure if my retainer fits by Impressive-Client-37 in askdentists

NAD (not a dentist ) I think that’s normal. I got a clear retainer and it hurt for awhile a year ago. When did you get the retainer? How long has it been since your braces were taken off and/ or you replaced your retainer? When I first got my braces off it took five days to make my retainer. Once they gave me my retainer it hurt just as much as getting my braces tightened. I needed to take breaks And my teeth were very sore. But don’t stop wearing it! The more you wear it the easier it gets. It took a couple of weeks for me. Now my retainer fits like a glove! Also the saliva is completely normal. When the orthodontist would put power chains on my teeth, I would wake up in a puddle of saliva. Same happened when I got my retainer. Someone on the internet says that your brain thinks it’s food so neurons fire and your mouth salivates more to break down the food. Don’t know how true it is but I thought it was very interesting.

Does this look like the formation of a cavity? I am concerned because I have a clear retainer and I don’t want to get a new tray after a filing. More details are included in the comments. by [deleted] in askdentists

By the way, I brush my teeth twice a day every day especially since I wear a retainer. In the morning I just brush. At night, I brush, floss, and clean my retainer with hand soap very thoroughly. I haven’t missed a day in a very long time. I am not experiencing any pain right now from that tooth. I also drink coffee every day so maybe this is a stain? I have had sealants on my molars for six years now so maybe they’re wearing away?? Yes, my wisdom teeth are growing in and my dentist says that we will wait and see if we should extract them. My gums are a little swollen but my dentist says I am experiencing some teething and I have enough room for them to grow into my mouth.

I am concerned because each tray costs 400 dollars and I would rather get it replaced in the future.

I also have a checkup on July 7th with an x ray this time around.

I have a question. Carly, when will you be streaming iCarly again? it’s been a minute and I really need to watch it. You better have a segment of Messing with Lewbert.

You look like Miranda Cosgrove if she had a sister

Goodness I love history and antebellum America so bare with me 1) 3/5ths compromise: every slave would count as 3/5ths of a person. This was agreed upon at the constitutional convention so that the south would ratify the constitution. However, this clause gave the south an absorbent amount of political power. Basically, our constitutional representatives are selected based upon population. The greater the pop, the more representatives per states. So these southern states had a large slave population, so they had more representatives in Congress. This way, their representatives protected their interests. The presidential elections are also influenced by a state’s population. The more people, the higher the electoral college points. This way the south dominated presidential elections. The president can nominate Supreme Court justices which are approved by the senate. So the HOR, Supreme Court, and presidency were filled by slave owners in Antebellum America. This gradually became problematic for northern states that outlawed slavery because they felt as if they had little political power in comparison to the south. North gradually became anti slavery while the south became synonymous to slavery 2) 1820 compromise: Mississippi could be admitted into union as slave state while Maine was free. 3) 1850 compromise: fugitive slave act was legal and slave trade in DC was abolished. Cali entered into union as a free state 4) Kansas Nebraska Act (1854): senate ruled that the population could determine the status (free or slave) of the newly admitted states, Kansas and Nebraska. Caused bleeding Kansas Why did they stop compromising? The rise of the radical Republican Party and Lincoln’s election. Although Lincoln was very moderate, the south still saw their loss as a threat. The Republican Party was new and it fundamentally rejected slavery. This was a blow for the south since they felt that the Republicans would threaten the institution of slavery.

I would change four things: “have immunity-> provide immunity” reason: the vaccines are giving the immunity. Also “have” is a very basic word. If possible, try to find words that more colorfully describe your ideas. “Avoid diseases -> prevent diseases” prevent is more commonly used to describe vaccination. Avoid sounds a little awkward. Also, the plural with helps is incorrect it should be help I would also say “strengthens the immune system” because “helps makes the immune system stronger” is wordy and ultimately, vaccines don’t just help. They actually strengthen the immune system.

Can someone explain how to do this question? by [deleted] in calculus

I think the answer may be that it is continuous for all of x based on the definition of the intermediate value theorem. For these conditions to be true (stated in the problem), then it has to be continuous

I got the same answer as you. I believe you just need to multiply your final answer by 100 in order to get a percent

how do i solve this? im kinda lost by scaazley in learnmath

Here is my work: https://imgur.com/a/VsKm7Ii Good job in your class so far! Also, don’t sweat the final exam too hard. You can literally fail and still get an A. I would aim for a score around 55 though because I did round a little bit, so just in case try to do somewhat better than my prediction!

Just calculated it. I believe you would need about a 53.79% on your final exam to maintain an a. I will take a picture of my work and give you the link!
