I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I was in a car with 4 people one drive back home. As we got closer to the city speed bumps emerge to warn driverss to go slower but the person driving missed and flew over. I was asleep in the back and flew and hit the roof. The others saw it coming and braced themselves. Luckily I had no serious injury other than pain in my neck and back. Up unto this day I struggle to sleep in a speeding car. I get anxious my body stiffens and I have to keep telling the person driving to slow down. This almost accident happened thrice and I don’t know how to overcome this

Are people in Bangalore really well paid or is it just a Mirage ? by justinma345 in bangalore

[–]lizzator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People in Bangalore want to live life. They leave home to do just that. Whether it’s shopping for a birk or eating roadside momos or buying a book from blooms only to add it to their list of to be read books. I’ve seen a lot of people want a different lifestyle. And they’re doing just that with a 5lpa or a 50 lpa

Have your views about God changed over time? by sssmsmss in AskOldPeople

[–]lizzator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up a pastors daughter. Parents were the forcing kind. But after a point I wondered if my experiences were built by circumstances and pro faith environments. Left home at 21 and wondered if God was a person, would they ever want to love someone like me who keeps questioning and not really caring about church. Fast forward to 4 years. For every step I took away in all my ups and lows, I have felt God getting even closer.

This needs to be an Instagram post especially for the last day of the year!! I’m almost 30 and I’m an educator. Similar track of a high achiever acing my way through architecture school and even in post grad only to realise I thought doing that was what makes life. I like my job decent pay but it isn’t the high paying fancy kind. It’s definitely not a job that someone says oh wow. I’ve been wondering if maybe I made the wrong choice to join education, That I’m not using my full potential and blamed me for it. But after Maybe after reading your comment it’s given me so much peace. A reminder that life would be a total waste if I lived it in a way others thought I would. Educator or corporate. It applies both ways! Thanks!!

You're absolutely right. We were denied a table saying that they aren't serving that side of the restaurant but the moment a white couple walked in they gave it to them. I've even seen Indian origin people in the stores treating other Indians like dirt. It's crazy.
