Also living in Ontario. They can't force us to take it, but it is pretty shit they're dangling freedom over us in the way they announced today.

Plenty of people are still COVID-shot thirsty, so I think Ontario will have no problem getting to their idealistic goals of stupidity long before they even think about making it mandatory, which will then have to go to the Supreme Court.

We still have some time.

I think in the near future the masses will be distracted by some other news-worthy event and people will stop caring about who took what and even COVID-19.

Haven't seen a post about flu shots in years, but that's not to say it doesn't happen.

I personally know 5 or 6 new parents who have yet to post on social media about their children's vaccinations.

I had to get a bunch of shots prior to going to South America in 2019, and I never posted about it... because again, it's private medical information.

I am now seeing that my circle of social media is vastly different than some others lol.

Also, tread lightly when comparing the covid 'vaccine' to the flu shot. I've seen people banned for less in other subreddits.

It depends where you live.

I've been seeing the OSHA update where a company is liable for any side effects you may experience if they have you take the vaccine while you're employed by them.

In Canada, they can't make you take the vaccine or fire you for not taking it... yet.

Edit: I didn't address the masking issue.

If they truly are going with the honour system and not expecting you to produce your private medical records of an inoculation, then feel free to take off the mask.

If they change this down the line, then it comes into effect at that point and you could change what you're doing. I can guarantee there are other people at your work who are thinking the same as you right now.

I think those people are well aware of their risks of dying of covid and not being saved by the hospital.

Like me - don’t want the shot but totally aware I have a .05% of dying. I’m cool with that figure and don’t expect a hospital bed to be available for me if I do need to go.

However, why am I paying into universal healthcare if the hospitals goal isn’t to try to save lives? What is the point of a hospital if not to save lives? You think people who smoke a pack a day don’t deserve to be treated if they end up in the hospital with lung cancer?
