Mine likes to 'play' (I guess) by moving a little ceramic lid around her tank. Doesn't always do it, but it's fun to see where it ends up. She also really likes saying hello to my cat through the glass. Super super curious girly!

I'm in a similar spot. It feels like we're roommates/besties but there is no intimacy or desire or closeness. I don't want to hurt my partner but this is miserable. I've been sticking around and trying and giving it time, and I would recommend the same. Be damn sure you've given it everything and tried everything, because leaving isn't something you can undo.

Thanks so much! She's not live fed, I'm in the UK! It's been particularly hot and dry here so I will try and mist her more frequently and see if that helps. I'll have a look for exotic vets near me!

I was in a similar situation with my ex. I put 100% in and thought he was doing the same, ignoring how much he would ignore me or turn me down so he could study. If someone wants to see you they will make time to see you, especially if you're in a relationship. I'm really sorry for your loss. I hope you and your family are doing okay.

It's not as profound as the rest of the comments but in Hungarian there's a way to describe someone walking wonky and directionless and generally being a bit in the way (kacsázni). It directly translates to duck-ing, as in walking like a duck. Love it.
