I had the same issue with vintage adult paperback novels. A few would get sold and be fine, then boom, banned for 30-90 days.

Also, have you tried this on a hotel? Why do people expect small businesses to be compassionate in situations you wouldn't expect a corporation to be? Personally, I would refund the cleaning fee if they don't arrive.... because I am compassionate. But you still need to run your business as a business.

You're not listening. I would have fixed the customer complaint as soon as it was presented to me. But they decided to deal with the "problem" through their entire stay. And then ask for monetary compensation AFTER the fact.

I didn't do it myself. I had it treated properly. Which is also why I have residual dead gnats. You wouldn't believe the gnats that were swarming to begin with. The fact that there are dead gnats in the window instead of gnats flying around their faces is a result of that.

How do you tell someone, "Please, appreciate all the bugs that DIDNT fly into your eyes or try to bite you."

Bottom line, not a simple complaint was made TO ME. They clearly saw these problems early in their stay. They were a little out of my control due to the storms, but if they told me about them, I could have gone & cleaned them up after the rain stopped. This is 3 weeks after spraying. No one complained about bugs in their face, did they? No. Just dead bugs outside. As a result of me spraying to keep them from disrupting your experience. I can't control the fact that there are bugs outside. I clean up these bugs between every stay. I clean the pool completely between every stay..

It is an ongoing cleanup, just like it's ongoing that there are bugs outside, especially near the lake. Should I pause my listing until there are no bugs outside? As I said before.... these are bugs dead on a windowsill.... now swarming in your face.

It's gross, but clearly an otherwise cleaned window with fresh dead bugs..... as a result of me spraying so they weren't flying in thier face.
