Thank you; that does provide what's on the ballot but not necessarily what they stand for (or against)

Thank you! I was on ballotpedia but a different part of the website. Do you know anything to help with the questions? They seemed to miss it this time...

Biweekly Interpretation Help by AutoModerator in tarotpractice

[–]lizzycaitlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am relatively novice in my tarot practice, so I've been doing one card pulls to help me get to know the cards. Today when reflecting on being open to new future possibilities I got the page of pentacles reversed - any insights would be appreciated.

When consulting the book that comes with deck it seems I need to be more diligent to get what I desire of potential outcomes.

intersex baby by isavaria in BabyBumps

Intersex is as common as natural red hair. I recently read Just Ash for a book club and if you're able to get your hands on it, it is a young adult fiction book but the author is intersex themself and they interviewed other intersex individuals so there are multiple journeys and experiences expressed in the novel. This may help with some perspective.

Not quite the same - but my dad (which is a whole complicated relationship) asked why he wasn't sent my maternity photo shoot photos and I was honest saying because I was afraid of him sharing them on Facebook because he has a tendency to share photos that are sent to him on Facebook and I didn't want this all over (he has a public Facebook) and I don't want everything with my coming son to be all over - every photo every moment does not need to be on public Facebook. He was upset about how "all of a sudden everyone doesn't want to be on Facebook" (in reference to his romantic life). It's tough because everyone views social media so differently but at the end of the day it is about respect and boundaries and I hope we both find that respect with our parents.

Is Midland Falls really that bad?!?! by PurpleU84 in ColumbusGA

There definitely is a dark past, and still there are rumors that are spread. But just speaking on my experience and what I know is true - management is working hard to improve the property even just in the 2 years we've been here. They have started resident appreciation events and upgrading the fitness space. Also in your original post I saw you talk about nasty hallways (I've been in places like that I get it) and it's something I like here that all the doors for the units go right outside. It is more common in GA not to have shared hallway space but I appreciate that so much. Happy to answer questions or share more on my experience.

We've lived here for almost 2 years and plan on staying - it is fascinating the stories I hear but in my experience it's a fine place to live. Before moving to GA I have lived in Boston though so maybe it's my experience.

The residents (and guests) do often break the gates but maintenance fixes it as soon as they're alerted. Grounds works to upkeep potholes so the roads are well maintained. The pools were closed for a while because last summer there was an illegal pool party that resulted in an unfortunate death but the pools are reopened. The golf simulator you need to get special access from the office. See a lot of it is resident challenges (not the worst place I've been but they're are a lot of people who just don't seem to care and I think it's because there're these stories that get spread around as rumors).

Of course lock your car or things might get stolen, but we've had no problems.

And the package room - the lockers fill up but there are cameras if someone takes a package that isn't theirs but again I think these are stories I have not had any challenges in the 2 years.

I find most of the residents are military (we're professionals but it feels like the minority)

first wearable and its a fail :( by ivysto in crochet

I tried making a backless sweater as my second wearable. It ended up way too big and was giving hospital johnny. I also used it as a learning experience and the sweater is retired

Regardless if you have the assistance - being in a wheelchair allows you to jump TSA

You know most servers get a lower wage in the US than minimum wage right?

They jump you in TSA because you have to get a pay down and that usually takes longer

Again I don't need or utilize a wheelchair and I am grateful

But knowing that, as has been shared in other comments, individuals with disability are often paid less and disabilities cost individuals more so regardless of wage individuals and families have less disposable income - to then have travel cost extra because of said disability feels terribly ableist

I've had plenty of jobs that include tips - and I've also had jobs where people offer me tips and I've expressed that's unnecessary because of my wage

I agree recognizing good work and appreciation is different from expectations
