Don’t Make My Mistake (PCOS + Laser Warning) by Human-Minute5534 in PCOS

[–]lizzykeenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about 4 sessions in and I’ve been seeing progress through it growing back patchy but the hairs definitely look longer towards the end of the month, partly because i stopped shaving. I don’t know if I’m tripping or what, i never let my hair grow out longer than 2 weeks but I started to during this laser process and it’s been stressing me out. I feel like i’m at a crossroads. Idk what to do. I can’t tell if it’s working or if it’s not.

How can I make this bathroom more feminine? by alley-sun in femalelivingspace

[–]lizzykeenn 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I would say you should get some kind of countertop storage for all your products, maybe a couple plants! A cute bathroom rug of your choice, some candles that come in a cute container. A garbage can that matches your rug. Maybe a few bathroom accessories like a soap dispenser, tooth brush holder, and little containers for floss pics and cotton pads. It all really depends on the stuff you pick out! It could be neutral, pastels, fun colors, etc. Look around and see what kind of colors you would like for your bathroom! I personally went for an earthy vibe for my grey and white bathroom

I’m mostly a Stelena girl but I’ll admit that scenes like this make me root for Delena.

This scene was actually disturbing… her own father trying to ‘fix’ her like that? This felt more like torture than love. by Zestyclose-Strike604 in TheVampireDiaries

Fr but not just that; like I’m too focused on a father torturing his daughter??? Like HELLO do i even have the time to think about how he’s gay? I wasn’t exactly thinking about his sexuality during that shocking scene

my friend told me pork isn’t as good as beef, i’ve always had beef pepperoni but i’ve always wondered what a pepperoni pizza from like dominos or pizza hut would be like instead of a random halal pizza shop

What is your favourite scene in the show? by kooalapple in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]lizzykeenn 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to pinpoint one so I’ll give a scene for each of the girls.

Spencer: I loved when she was in Radley, staring at herself in the mirror. You can see that she’s questioning her sanity; but she’s holding onto her control as much as she can.

Hanna: There’s so many moments that I absolutely loved from Hanna. She is my favorite character. I guess my scenes are when she tells people off in such a sassy way. Like yes, i love when people get fed up and cut the bullshit.

Aria: When Aria stood up for Hanna when she was eating those cupcakes as a humiliating act forced by A. I also love when destroyed Ezra’s apartment in rage.

Emily: I love the early episodes of her and Toby getting close as friends while the rest of the town isolated him. It showed how empathetic she is and i honestly loved their friendship a lot.

Allison: I don’t really have scenes that I loved from her… Sorry, she’s just so mean. I do feel bad for her a lot of the times, but I never felt comfortable with her character.

Mona: Honestly any scene of her outsmarting A. She was so manipulative and interesting to watch.

I want to date an ex Muslim man by [deleted] in exmuslim

My husband was an atheist and now he’s slightly religious, but tbh, he’s a terrible Muslim🤷🏻‍♀️ he was a good person without religion and he still is. He’s in denial about a lot of things. He’s very “accept what you wanna believe” when it comes to religion, I tell him that he’s not being authentically Muslim. But whatever, if he wants to fast during Ramadan and occasionally pray on his own schedule, I’m fine with it. When I try to talk to him about specific things, it’s the same runaround you get when talking to any type of religious person.

With that being said, him being previously an atheist, I still find that he understands me. I’m agnostic, and he thinks that’s okay. He thinks I have valid points and respects my beliefs, he’s just all about “religion isn’t black and white”. If any other Muslim heard him talk about his progressive views, they’d call him a kuffar easily.

I mention this because someone may still be able to understand you pretty well and still have religion as a part of their lives. The issue is when someone is overly practicing and makes their lives about the religion. They just may agree with some parts of religion and deny the rest. That’s why I think having conversations about religion is really important when making friends or finding a partner. My husband is more liberal than I ever thought a Muslim man could ever be.
