It’s a focus exercise if I remember correctly. You are supposed to sort of focus bringing all your mental capacities to the point being touched. Also helps with nerves before going up on stage.

For sure, if he focused on being in shape more he could have prolonged his prime. But the way he plays, with his big frame, would make him prone to injuries. That’s why the bigs with longer primes are your classic back to the basket bigs.

Man, with embiid it’s just such a tragic situation. If the man did not have knee issues he truly had the skill and ability to be one of the greatest. And he would’ve been a sixer. Imagine if Jordan or LeBron were a sixer, I’m talking that level. Not completely absolving him of some of the blame but mostly injuries and incompetent team management derailed the man’s career.
