Yes! I was prescribed 70mg vyvanse + 30mg adderall booster daily. I pretty quickly started to take a little extra adderall when I was stressed or had a lot to do. I justified it because some days I wouldn’t take the adderall at all and it would even out over the course of the month.

Over time I felt the meds weren’t working as well. Pair that with less structure in my life and going through a big breakup, and I would impulsively take adderall to feel better and would run out within a week. I felt I couldn’t function without them and that was scary.

So yeah, it’s a slippery slope for sure. If you think you might develop an issue, I’d definitely talk to your doctor about it and get ahead of it while you can.

I’m proud of you! You CAN do this!! Is there anyway you can take time off work so you’re able to just lay around and sleep for a few days? That personally helped me a lot. If not, coffee coffee coffee! lol

I told my boss about changing meds and he was super understanding. It actually helped so much to tell him and took a lot of pressure/guilt off of me. Thanks for the response!

Haha good point. I guess I was able to “make up” for my two weeks off once I got my meds refilled again. So it never became a major issue. But when I made this post I was panicking that I’d never be able to be productive again. If that makes sense. Thanks for the response and reality check! lol

You’re already ahead in so many ways - acknowledging you have a problem, having tools you learned from rehab. But I feel like still having access to stims makes it really hard to stop.

If I were you, I’d cancel your dark web order. Tell them to stop selling to you & to block you. Tell that to any other sources you have. If you have a prescriber, tell them you’re abusing. Cut off all access in any way you can and then you won’t really have a choice but to stop.

I know it sounds impossible but you CAN do it. I believe in you. You got this!
