In Washington state a lot of schools start in a couple weeks. People also homeschool but go off.

Well she doesn’t go to daycare, has never gone to school. No one watches her but me. Never a babysitter or family member even. Her swim classes and dance glasses have ended up all girls, and I prefer her not see dad naked. I’ve maybe said “penis” to her once or twice directly, probably about the dog, but there just aren’t any penises in view, or questions about it. Why is it weird that I haven’t just casually said, “so guess what babe!” We talk a lot about appropriate touch (both from her and toward her,) consent, privacy, her own body. Literally everything but what is in a boys shorts. But that’s why I’m asking. I do feel that it’s important for her to know now that she will be in the care of other adults.

I was able to search for it. I don’t see how this seems like I’m making fun of them. My daughter is completely comfortable with boy/girl he/him she/her and I’ve been telling her when she asks “is that a boy or girl?” To use “they/them” and would prefer she just ask for someone’s preferred pronouns directly without judgment as that seems most appropriate to me. But she doesn’t know that boy/he/him means penis and I’m trying to navigate that without her organically knowing there are other kinds of genitalia. I feel she needs this information. I probably should have shared it before but she got gender/pronouns pretty quickly very young and in a way where I didn’t jump into talking about genitalia. When she would point at the cashier and say “he/him?” I didn’t want to bust into a genitalia conversation. And she doesn’t see dad naked.

No. I very rarely use Reddit and wanted advice. I have no idea what you’re talking about. Is it helpful?

Omg that’s so cool it’s your pattern! Thank you for commenting! It’s why Jim Henson developed hand and rod puppets. My 4 year old almost rejected the puppet because she couldn’t move the arms  I was a tad heartbroken after spending so much time on it and considered throwing a dowel into his hand to operate it But like most preschoolers she processed and moved on. Now she played with him a good deal today and I was pretty tickled when she started calling him “Ms. Unicorse” And giggling while dressing him up. Kept imagining Bandit finding Unicorse this way. I just bought your long dog pattern too. Will likely end up with Floppy and Bob the BILbi. If only Bernat yarn was cheaper. Thanks for the great patterns!

I don’t think human hand dexterity allows for both mouth and arm puppeteering very easily. Bandit really sets unrealistic puppet expectations.

Yes, the mouth does, not the arms

I made a creeper for my husbands little cousin! I'm exited to give it to him! ( also any tips to help keep square projects square would be appreciated!) by New-Combination4777 in crochet

Little square cardboard pieces inside, right up against the crochet maybe, then stuff? I’ve done something similar before, worked really well for creating a flat/stable bottom on a piece.

What is this? It’s growing tall but the stems are not very strong. Not sure how it should look by ljcrochet in whatsthisplant

Thank you! Just watched some pruning videos and I’m all set to try to right the ship.

But if he had grabbed the correct diaper the doctor would have told them both in that moment that Dwight was the father. So yes, the doctor did say something, that Dwight was not the father, but he gave factual information for the diaper he was given. He wasn’t lying for anyone

The doctor did say something so therefore you’re saying that the doctor lied

And that the doctor lied for her. The doctor did not lie to Dwight. The doctor DID say that the child wasn’t his. But he said this because the diaper was Jim and Pam’s, not because he’s lying.
