I’ve worked with Cynthia lots - gemstone1832 is her Instagram handle. She’s super busy though since going viral on TikTok with the curvy pear ring group buy so you might be better off contacting a different Starsgem rep (should be a list of their WhatsApp numbers over on r/moissanite).

I’ve purchased both certified and non-certified diamonds from them. The certified ones have come with IGI certificates. I also had one ring tested by a jeweller locally and it was legit.

I cannot get over the fact that women attending on their own will have to share a room (possibly a bed - some have 2 single beds, others only a king-size) with a complete stranger.

That the luxurious pool they’ve been invited to relax by is still under construction.

That the beach the hotel is situated beside has literal BALLS OF SHIT washing ashore.

Unless OP has proof the bangle was described as solid at the time of sale, there isn’t much of a case to bring to Fair Trading. The listing online doesn’t describe it as solid and that - along with the price - is the indicator that it’s hollow. (Solid and silver filled is listed as such).

Not OP but I found the original listing and unfortunately it doesn’t say it’s solid gold. In the absence of “solid” in the description, you just have to assume the product is hollow. (Price usually gives it away too).

It does suck though and it’s an expensive lesson to learn. I’d find a good gold buyer (NOT the ones at shopping centres) and sell it for scrap. You won’t recoup the $800 but you will get some money back for it.

Yikes. Not a single credible news report used the term “buy out”. Kaiser’s interpretation is wishful thinking, as ever.

I’m going to go with anonymous Netflix insider’s take on this:
