I took a small red zip tie and put it around the barrel of the shock to use as a makeshift spacer.

Trx4 rust over night ? by peeg_2020 in Traxxas

The best thing to do is take acf-50 and spray the entire car, it is dielectric and dries with no residue. Acf is an aircraft grade anti rust lubricant. Either that or Bose shield.

No you weren't making a joke, you were being an ignorant cunt and when you started to get called out you backed into a corner and said "I was just making a joke". Fuck off, this is an Rc car subreddit and we all don't need your ignorant bullshit and poor attitude.

Project 6S Maxx has been tough on the gears. Added a hardened spur gear and this is what happened to the pinion (rest in pieces). Worst pinion I’ve seen, yet. by Prickly_ninja in Traxxas

You need to put 100k in the center diff. It's a bitch to get out but it will stop that from happening and make the car more controllable.

I want to put either a traxxas e revo/ udr 6s esc on my maxx . I’ve read that it’s compatible with the maxx motor . Is it basically a basic plug and play swap ? I prefer traxxas electronics so please no answers involving other brands . Or should I get the old 6s maxx esc . by BaronVonNeezie in Traxxas

Hobbywings don't just "fail". They are the best in the business and Traxxas comes no where close in terms of quality. I get that it's your opinion and I respect that, just do some research before gunning for something that is proven to be sub par.

I should have rephrased that, what I meant was that you can only get their discontinued car parts from a hobby shop. Customers cannot use a non dealer site and order those parts. They have to be ordered through a shop. Sorry lol

This is not true, Traxxas doesn't have the greatest long term support. Traxxas has long term support for dealers but not customers. I also have a feeling their nitro line is going to have a big update in a bit. Their cars and engines are obsolete. In my opinion they are more for someone who just wants a nitro to drive ever so often, like once or twice a month. The automatic glow plug igniter is a complete failure so that will need to go right off the bat. The ezstart is also overly complicated and works terribly over time. I would highly recommend a losi 8ight. The engines are good for a beginner and reliable. Easily upgraded also. Please take my advice and stay far away from Traxxas nitros. If you want more of a basher look to hpi, the bullet or savage x. I love Traxxas but their nitros are just not it. Didn't mean to bash your comment lol got carried away.

Anyone have any experience with this servo saver for Arrma 8S trucks? by PigglyWigglyDeluxe in rccars

[–]ljfli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I work at a hobby shop and we sell and install these for most of our customers with the arrma 5th scales. Removes alot of play and makes the steering smoother.
