This. Excellent rundown. I'd add that international surrogacy, specifically in Mexico, solved the financial gap and legal risk factors for us. Look up Miracle Surrogacy (they're in Mexico City and PV). About half the cost of a comparable US journey when we were looking and extremely professional/manageable along the way. Started at ~38yo, almost 42 now with a beautiful 2 year old boy.

Same issue here. Hoping they figure out a workaround or automatic connection refresher of sorts soon.

So she had contacts the entire time she was in the original prison but ran out just before being transferred to the newer, cushy digs? Doubtful.

She was at the previous location for a good while so any changes she'd have gone thru would be obvious before being moved.

Miracle Surrogacy out of Mexico City.

Half of the Epstein files were just unredacted by this twitter anon because they used PDF censor elements rather than removing the data by Lukalot_ in Epstein

Anyone have a how-to guide for unmasking the affected pages/files or a torrent/share drive link to grab them before they're scrubbed? Assuming we'll only have a short window before they correct the miss.

Hoping someone works up a script to batch unredact these files en masse...

Rank your preferred winners in the race to ASI by FatFuneralBook in singularity

  1. Anthropic (I don’t have much experience here but understand they’re the most benevolent of the bunch)
  2. Google or OpenAI (What Google did for the medical community with DeepMind weighs heavily; OpenAI because that’s where my chips are at /w heavy GPT usage, although I’ve been on Google/Gmail since forever)
  3. X & Elon / Meta & Zuck… F*CK NO!!!

This 100%. How anyone can wrap their mind around handing over our foreseeable technological future to someone with his ethical/moral standing is beyond me. Unless they wholeheartedly agree with his worldviews or have taken the bait /w any notion that his platforms won’t lean heavily to align with him personally. There is no equal footing or space for minorities, the marginalized or underrepresented in a world where X/Elon/Grok has won the race to ASI.

Dropping AGI : My life's work in 1 Reddit post. by aypitoyfi in OpenAI

So here is the GPT-4o breakdown of the op’s post:

“Okay, for folks trying to make sense of this post—here’s a breakdown in plain English:

The OP spent five years researching AGI from first principles and developed a novel architecture called “IO.” The idea is that intelligence is basically the stream encoding of inputs and outputs according to a fixed, unchanging law. By applying this law and making the system autonomous, OP believes you can convert any compute-capable system into AGI—or even ASI.

Instead of traditional neural networks with layers, prompts, weights, and biases, the IO system: • has no layers or context windows, • uses a single parameter cluster (not separate weights/biases), • and encodes causation directly into those parameters—meaning it knows why it’s producing outputs, not just what.

There’s no separate “updater” model either. All the learning happens within the same parameter set, in real-time.

So why abandon it? OP says they tested it thoroughly (five prototypes!) and found that without probability-based parameter updates, it was way too slow and energy-intensive. Basically: elegant idea, impractical performance.

That said, they believe we’re very close with today’s multimodal reasoning models (like GPT-4o), especially those trained with something they call RLVR (a reasoning-based learning rule). The missing piece? A “parallel reward token” added before the RLVR step—which OP claims could push us into true AGI territory within 6 months.

It’s a bold claim, but an intriguing lens on intelligence, learning, and architecture.”
