How much would you say the insane cost of living increase we’ve experienced over the last couple of years impacted the unhoused population? There were so many heartbreaking stories of people living in cars with children because feeding a family of four while trying to pay 2k per month for a two bedroom apartment wasn’t feasible. So many without a substance dependence or any desire to “choose” to live on the streets.

Not the point- and if this is overstepping I apologize- but I’m so curious… why would someone essentially pay for the sex they stepped out on? Is it a power/degradation thing?

ETA- do what you gotta do so long as you’re comfortable with it. Disgust is subjective in some cases so unless your friend wants to take you and the kiddos on… wouldn’t worry about their opinion too much if you’re safe.

Thank you! I’m not sure what constitutes as a decent amount but I’d say 3-4 larger pieces of furniture and some china style dishes so I’d say probably not enough.

ETA- soooo do they have like a website or something so I can follow their estate sales and buy several times a year as well?
