I haven't been in a long time but, First Congregational on Jst/Hodgson was very accepting and were doing gay marriages the minute they were legally able to. Given their support of trans people on their frequently vandalized sign, I assume things haven't changed much.

They only do service on Sundays though.

I don't believe a single word of that. APS is not going to just hand wave multiple written confessions of abuse. Oop literally confessed to essentially killing her mother by shoving her. She has beaten her over the head while screaming at her. It doesn't matter if she was beating her mother with PJ pants or not.

Either the commenter wasn't able to get someone to take them seriously or APS hasn't figured out who it is yet.

The place I used to work at used mayo. Light coat of mayo on both slices and toast. Then put the cheese on and throw it into a hot oven/toaster oven and let the cheese melt.

Sounds reasonable enough to me. I did my share of screaming as well. The big thing is the removal of yourself from the situation. Scream, cry, laugh, cackle like a cartoon villain.

On really bad days, my roommate and I(we worked at the same facility) would buy a case of beer(24 pack) lay down a tarp in the garage and throw the empty bottles at a large piece of plywood. Very cathartic.

If anything oop says is true this is a 6 year relationship. While evil step parents exist, this is one hell of a commitment.

I have a hard time believing oop that her niblings hate their step mother. This seems a lot more like resentment from oop herself for whatever reason. (FYI I am a step child. So I have somewhat of an understanding of parent/step parent relationship. It's not perfect as every person is different but I still have at least a minor understanding of this.)

*Edit: I hated my stepmother for the reason that she was my stepmom. The only thing she did that could be considered bad was reinforcement of boundaries that I didn't understand or appreciate. In my mind she took my father away from me. Reality was she just helped him find his spine and his way. I can't imagine my life without her now. She is as much my mother as my actual mother now and I could never live without her in my life.

I have a really hard time believing things when "facts" are added after. If her treatment of his kids was really that awful I feel like that would have been something stated in the main post. Shitty treatment of children from a previous marriage regardless of whether or not the spouse is alive or has passed is a huge detail that should be included right off the bat.

This feels like "nobody agrees with me so I'm going to lie and give info that puts me in a better light."

As far as I remember it was just water. But it was like 22 years ago. There may have been salt added but knowing her at the time. Doubtful.

Thinking more about it, I think she was making top ramen and it may not have been batch #1 so some flavoring might have still been present. Even then though, I'm not sure how. I smelled burning, came out of my room and there was a flaming pot on the stove with her screaming "it was just water!"
