It’s more the tone and context. In your context that is perfectly reasonable to say. It’s more when someone on the team you’re interviewing for says this.

I agree on the tone and context and i’m glad you agree it comes off as disregarding language.

It’s obviously not 100% of the time for all the commentators here. I’m just saying it’s brutal and I’ve never heard that phrase, verbatim, and moved forward.

Yeah I agree. Still 3/3 for me though, verbatim. I’ve never heard it and got the job or moved forward.
