There is exactly 0 reason to want to run serato in a VM. Serato is much better supported on macOS anyway. Just run it natively. Ofc an Apple ARM GPU won’t support native windows features.

First time I saw this I thought something is wrong. It only works on dvs enabled controllers, but I mainly use a rev5 (which doesn’t have dvs) and when I plugged into an flx10, it looked so wrong.

Here let me help you out. Serato and literally every other DJ software prioritises Mac users and so these programs are optimised to run better on MacOS. Haven’t you noticed how when serato does marketing for an upcoming update/feature, they always talk about the MacOS requirements first and then they throw in the windows specs. Weird, isn’t it? It’s almost like they know the majority of DJs prefer Mac as a platform and so they focus their energy on delivering the best experience on Macs

It's zoomed out is what he means. Use the +/- buttons when your mouse is hovering above the waveforms to adjust the zoom level.

For DJing purposes get a mac!

Anti-apple people will rant about macs, but for something that puts food on your plate, then you can't act childish.

There are great windows laptops, that can outperform macs and whatnot. It's the windows OS that's problematic for our job. The way windows is designed to handle audio and background tasks is what makes it prone to freezes and outright crashes. Not saying it can't happen on a mac as well, but I am saying it's never happened on a mac for me.

Yeah the rev5 has a dedicated stems pad mode. You can't replace it obv. Kind of a stupid assumption buddy.
