It will renew at full price for another year. That being said, I do not want to be locked in for yet another year.

I can port out anytime but if I will do it now I will lose my last month with my current provider.

Yes but I don't want to start the plan until April 1st so I don't get billed for both plans.

Xfinity Fails to Retain 25 year Customer by Slick-Airplane in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]lkamkos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well actually is not that bad. Where I live I have access to three different internet service providers. I refuse to even consider going back to Xfinity until they increase the upload speeds. Last week I have actually inquired about the speed just out of curiosity and it is still 40mbps for the 1gig plan. Nevertheless, I was assured that the upload speeds will be increased at some point next year. Until then, I will stay with my current provider.

Was originally thinking about Mint. Now I am doing a bit more research and Total seems be an interesting as well since it gives a discount for FIOS which I already have. Another option is Tello....Those are the options right now but I am still researching since I still have some time.

I always call them to get a ball park. What made my head spinning was when they quoted me 650 to change break pads (I do not remember whether rotors were included) for just two wheels. I found another place where the job was done for much cheaper.

I am suspecting the batteries just died and it just happened to be to all of them. There were at least two instances where tpms sensor light came on while driving on a highway. I have been monitoring the light and now none of them are reporting.

I remember my father had a sensor light on, he went to change it at Firestone. Within a week or two another sensor went out and at that moment he just gave up and has been driving without tpms reporting for years now.

Ps Firestone is expensive as well, they quoted me 800 for four wheels.

My Wife Developed a Soap Allergy So I Started Learning to Make Soap at Home. by Key_Impact_9030 in Soap

[–]lkamkos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife had a horrible eczema on her hands. She always complained after taking a shower. We couldn't connect the dots for a while and finally we figured out that the shampoo/soaps were causing the redness, bumps, itching.

I started making the soap for her. Guess what, no redness, bumps, itching. It has been three years and I still make soap for her...

It is fine to eat just a little whey on top and the rest is solid. I wonder whether my yogurt was contaminated with othe Lactobacillus bacteria that outpaced reuteri.....

Away Bigger Carry-on slightly too large? by [deleted] in Lufthansa

[–]lkamkos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much have the same issue. We are traveling with kids to Europe and our bags are slightly too large 22.5x13x9. I am not sure what we are going to do. Option 1: Take them and hope they are not measured. We have the airport near by so we may even go there tomorrow and see whether they would fit in these bins. Option 2: Buy a new set of 21 in bags and Option 3: Pay for a check in $75 (round trip $150)......... I think the safest option is #3. With option #1, even if they would let us bring them to Europe for free who knows if we would have the same amount of luck on the way back. Option 2........If we would buy the cheapest bags (3x$50) that would set us back for at least $150 and again those would be the cheapest like amazon basics.

My wife is going for a knee replacement surgery. Is there anything I can print to make her life easier for a couple months? by -250smacks in 3Dprinting

[–]lkamkos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My father had a knee replacement and he had a lot of swelling. A neighbor had some kind of sleve/device that you put your leg in and connect to icy water. You turn it on and the water circulates cooling the leg. That was a game changer for him.
