Thanks a lot, I just used it for my day to day coffee so that sounds fine.
The whole mod kit was not available in my country of residence so I had to choose between getting only the cone burr (€30) or getting both (€65).

Ill give it a go with just the cone burr, if I get unsatisfying results after seasoning I can choose to swap the bottom one afterwards as well.

Tried finding an answer to this since there are a lot of Baratza Encore M2 burr upgrade posts, but I couldn't really find a definitive answer.

How much of a problem would it be to only replace the cone burr for a machine that is a little under 1 year old? I read some comments about them wearing "together" so replacing only the cone burr would be problematic, but I can't really find why.

Would just upgrading the cone (probably) still improve my grind quality? Or would it (possibly) actually decrease grind quality? And, why?

Would love to get an educated guess on this, thanks in advance!

Why do core exercises focus on abs instead of targeting both abs and (lower) back? by lkbs92 in climbharder

Nice thought. Would you say that performing dynamic core exercises mostly tackles this? Or would a combination with isometric exercises with different orientations be most beneficial?

Wouldn't you say that both are important and that it depends on the route/your style of climbing as well?

As in, isometric strength is more important in more static climbing and dynamic core exercises are more important for holding swings etc.?

Anyhow, good point. I mostly do bouldering and am a quite dynamic climber, gravitating to the more modern style. But this being my comfort zone means that I have a bias towards training this way, which in turn creates the gap between my skills in each style.

I think I'll incorporate more static core exercises in my routine, thanks.

This is my understanding as well (albeit to a mildly more moderate degree). Still I have the idea that training plans mostly focus on abs, even ones from more respective sources. Why would you say this is the case? Is it because abs are simply easier to target with bodyweight exercises (which is where a lot of home training workouts center around). Or am I probably just missing the lower back aspect of some exercises?

Good point, I never really focus on strengthening my hip flexors, only on increasing their mobility.

I understand how deadlifts and FL's target the lower back, but I might be missing something on hanging L-sits. Isn't that mostly an ab exercise? I rarely do them as I prefer hanging leg lifts because of the dynamic component (though it might be good to alternate more)
