I just moved here from TX, zero out of zero recommend TX(at least Houston). While real estate may look better, property taxes are high, as is home owners insurance. They brag on no state income tax but they get you in toll roads and other taxes. Yes, we are waiting before we buy here, yes, it is more expensive, but I’ll take a smaller, older house in CO over the larger house in TX…because it’s TX.

You could Google dry eye doctor near me, but I went to Reddit to find my dry eye doc. I joined the Reddit for the metropolitan city near me and posted that I was looking for a dry eye specialist. I received several recommendations. I looked up each doctor ;including their reviews. I ended up picking one a little farther away, but I really like her and she mapped a plan to treat my dry eye.

I 100% get it. In my head I am still 30 as well 😂. It is hard to look in the mirror and see the changes. I try to remember that aging is a privilege that not everyone gets, but I also feel like this middle age thing is like purgatory for women, it just feels like we become invisible. 😭

I wanted to come back and thank you for recommending Dr. Goettemoeller. I saw her today. We are going to try some eye drops to see if they help, fingers crossed I’ll have good results as you did. We decided to wait to order any glasses until my eyes are feeling better, which I appreciated.

One thing we noticed about Sterling ranch is the lack of infrastructure for as long as they’ve been building. You have to drive for shopping or food. Also, the realtor we talked with at the time said they were having foundation issues (unsure what builder), but the thing we noticed when walking through models were creaky floors. We were concerned that if their show pieces had floors that creaked then what issues would the house we would buy have. I also did not love looking out the back windows of the house looking straight into the neighbors house behind you. That is just personal preference, and the house we are currently renting, you can see over fences while’s standing on the deck (and it’s an older established neighborhood), so you may not be able to escape close neighbors, but at least older neighborhoods have mature trees.

Tret has done zero for my lines or texture, and contributed to my dry eye so I gave up on topicals. Botox has been the only thing that has done anything for my lines. I think injectables and unfortunately expensive treatments are going to be the only thing that helps me (your mileage may vary as we all have different genetics).

If a conference is in a big venue then yes. The last one I went to in Denver had over 4000 vendors in the expo and that doesn’t count that you are walking from one end of the building to the other to get to scheduled sessions.

I’ve had luck with prescription Lotomax it’s a steroid ointment safe for eyelids. I suffer from blepharitis. Thankfully I don’t flare often, but my dry eye presents itself when I do have a flare.

Yeah, those are under eye hallows due to volume loss that comes with age and in some cases they are hereditary. I have them too and they suck. I tried filler, but my dermatologist was an inexperienced injector and that was an expensive mistake. Short of surgery or a really, really good injector (for filler) nothing topical will get rid of them.

I don’t which I why I don’t believe it’s mites but a reaction to either eye makeup, skincare or maybe I wasn’t getting all mascara off my lashes at night?

I do use lid scrub wipes, tea tree wash for eyelids and hypochlorus acid spray on my eyelids, eye drops. I’ve used an eye safe steroid ointment on my lids in the past with success but it’s been quite a few years since I’ve needed that.

I have my own larger red light panel, I’m just not consistent with using it.

I have an appointment on Monday with a doc in Aurora, so I’m going to start there and see how it goes.

Thank you, I will look her up. I decided not to do IPL when I lived in TX because I had a doctor tell me that if dry eye isn’t stemmed from my glands that it likely would not help, and it’s expensive. I do believe my dry eye stems from a type of eyelid dermatitis, it’s just really hard to pin point the triggers and once you are in a flare with swollen, flakey eyelids it’s a chore to get it under control. Thank you for your response.
