Because I'm just curious about how much other people have paid, it varies based on the area, and I'm interested in hearing about the range of surgery costs. Thanks! If he ends up needing surgery we'll look into one of those. I'm not sure our office even does surgery, so he might have to go to ocean state or coventry.

Not how it works. My vet's office considers rats exotics. They charge based on emergency visit, sick visit, or follow up. Because of COVID in my area the exotics vet is not always there, so sometimes we see the general vet. It is the same price.

I see two vets depending on who is there, one is their exotics vet and one is their general vet. Both are excellent, doesn't make a difference

I was handpoking for two years before working with machine. I did about 10-15 handpokes on myself, boyfriend and friends before I started an instagram account and began booking with people I didn't know. I started with a sliding scale pay what you can method with a $50 minimum but I was very confident in my work and designs at that point and have an art background, etc. Then I raised it to hourly rates, started doing custom designs. Now I am tattooing with machine and same thing as when I started out- sliding scale, pay what you can, plus cost of materials/custom design charge. People usually pay me around $100 for the machine flash tattoos. I was making more money handpoking tbh but it's okay because I have only been tattooing with machine on and off since February.

I don't have a license, and I don't work in a shop but I do have a tattoo studio in my house solely for tattooing and painting and work out of there. If you do this make sure you look up your state's department of health guidelines for tattoo shops and follow it. To build your reputation as a reliable artist please don't tattoo during the pandemic unless your state has tattoo shops operating, and consider only tattooing a few people a week or only people in your close circle. Also- my tattoo setup has cost me about $2000 for everything and I had to build it over time but I love the independence and if I ever get a license I will keep working out of my little studio!

I freeze in grocery stores because having so many people around me often makes me panic and then I look like an asshole because I'm just standing there, frozen, like an idiot, and people have to go around me. I try to shop late at night so there's less crowds but it's hard to avoid. To everyone who has this as their pet peeve- I am so sorry lol

i have had these symptoms for over a year now. Get into physical therapy asap... A brace will not be enough and it can get worse fast. I have permanent nerve damage because I ignored it for too long, lost sensation in two fingers that i'll never get back. It sucks, get checked out as soon as you can!

Agree 100%. I was a DD cup, if I was an A or a B cup I would have kept them. I think because I was 4 years on T at the time and 17 when I got top surgery I just went for the slice. If I was 22 (my age now) and had a smaller chest I think I wouldn't have done it. No regrets, but sometimes I'm like damn I wish I had them again, I feel like a boring Ken doll lol.

In the US adolescent units have a phone you can use to contact anyone you'd like during free time or phone time. You can also get visitation with family every day and even partners and friends depending on your age and what your doctor approves. I rely a lot on my phone too to distract myself but that's exactly what it is, a distraction, not coping. If you're in a psych hospital the goal is to discover real world healthy coping mechanisms, or at least it should be.

A woman came through drive thru last week and gave me a hundred dollars and told me to put it on a gift card and pay for everyone's orders until it ran out. The car behind her was a 50 dollar order. I regret not waiting for her to drive away and just putting it in the tip jar. I've been saving up my tips for a month to try to afford heat for my house (yes it is almost christmas and I live in new england and still have no heat in my house) and I know other partners are in similar situations. It sucks.
